One year ago today, the sneaker community lost one of its most famed and avid collectors in DJ AM. AM was not only respected as a world class DJ, but as a sneaker collector as well, owning a collection that reached almost 900 pairs.From original Ewings to a pair of the insanely rare Air Jordan Retro 4 “Eminem” edition, Adam’s collection covered a wide range of sneakers. After AM’s sudden death last August, his entire collection was auctioned off and 100% of the proceeds went to the DJ AM Memorial Fund, which helped others battling addiction as well.
One year later, Adam Michael Goldstein AKA “DJ AM” is still missed and appreciated in the sneaker world. Via Sole Collector
