Available: Converse Star Player EVO

It’s seemingly been a tough couple years for Converse in the realm of basketball. The relationship with Dwyane Wade didn’t really pan out the way they hoped. Chris Bosh made an early career switch to the Swoosh. Elton Brand has essentially been a bust in Philadelphia. Players like Jameer Nelson and Andre Miller have moved on to other brands. However, Converse is ready to get back in the picture with their latest release, the Star Player EVO.

The Star Player EVO is a lightweight performance sneaker the pairs modern hoops technology with Converse heritage design. Based on the original Star Player of the 70s, elements of breathability, performance, and cushioning have been updated on the shoe.

Included is an EVA midsole, breathable air-mesh upper-quarter panel and bootie. Topped off with a toe cap, the finished product is a shoe that both looks and performs up to standard.

You can now buy the Star Player EVO in 8 colorways at the Converse website. Retail is $90. Via Sole Collector
