It’s been 21 years since “Back To The Future 2″ was released, and the hype and possibility around a release of the Nike Air Mag “Marty McFly” has never been larger. While this might be a whole lot of nothing, documents have surfaced showing Tinker Hatfield’s request for a patent on his Air Mag “Marty McFly” design. Tinker’s request specifically asks for a patent on his automatic lacing system, as well as the lighting system used on the Air Mag “Marty McFly” design. This could be a sign of things to come in the future, or maybe Tinker simply is trying to protect his illusive technology. Either way, a release wouldn’t be fitting until 2015.Could this technology be a sign of things to come for a possible release? Who knows, only time will tell. Via Sole Collector
