In 2008, the Jordan Brand released several Collezione Countdown Packs to commemorate the release of the Air Jordan XX3. One of the packs included retro versions of the Air Jordan 9 and 14. The Retro 14 featured a sleek black on black look with white contrast stitching and minor red accenting. Images have surfaced of a Look-See Sample of the Retro 14 from the Countdown Pack. This pair, however, is a little more generous with the red.Like the released pair, the shoe features a black nubuck base, but opts for a true red contrast stitch on the side panels and heel. Other accent points, like the tongue bar, heel tab and branding make use of red as well. The inner lining and laces are black, as is the midsole and "teeth." An obvious standout feature on this shoe is the use of red rubber on the outsole. Via Sole Collector
