Wiz Khalifa was reportedly arrested on a series of felony marijuana charges early this morning (November 9) during a stop in Greenville, N.C. last night as part of his Waken Baken tour.According to MTV News, the 2010 XXL Freshman was brought in around 1:30 a.m. and charged with marijuana trafficking, maintaining a place for sale or storage of marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shortly after 8 a.m. Wiz was released on $300,000 bail. As of press time nine people in his entourage are still being held on the same charges.
The Pittsburgh, PA MC took to his Twitter account this morning to comment on the incident.
“[W]aken…baken…wrist still achin,” he wrote, before adding, “Man, jail sux!”
It is uncertain if the Atlantic Records signee will be making his way to Winston Salem Entertainment Sports Complex on Wednesday for his next tour stop as scheduled.
