The latest in an increasingly long line of Nike Boots is one whose family tree would come out significantly twisty-er than your average bonsai. The Nike ACG Bakin Posite Boot came to be something like this: first was the Nike Goadome, which was translated from Gore-Tex into Nike Basketball’s legendary Foamposite material for the Foamdome. DMV dudes like Wale loved the Foam boots as much as Foamposite Ones and Pros, so it was only natural to offer another satiny winter look, this time courtesy of the equally-wavy Air Bakin. Any good sneakerhead would be able to piece that together for you, but if you look closely, you can’t help but notice a flowy faux-mudguard that looks quite a bit like LeBron James’ only Posite-equipped signature so far, the Zoom LeBron IV. Hard to imagine a better colorway than this Bred edition as the initial drop, so check for these at Nike Sportswear accounts like Extra Butter. Via Sneaker News
