News quickly spread yesterday about LeBron James going into the retail business. This fall, LeBron James and partners will open the doors to Unknwn, which will be located in Aventura Mall in Aventura, Florida. Unknwn was originally set to open shop in Akron, Ohio, but the plans changed when LeBron decided to take his talents to South Beach.The lifestyle shop will stock books, footwear, art, clothing, and sometimes Unknwn will be used as an art gallery. Expect LeBron’s Nike line to be available as well as other brands including, Billionaire Boys Club, Original Fake, A.P.C., Nike Tier 0, just to name a few. Exclusive Nike releases will launch exclusively at Unknwn.
According to Michael Hurley (LeBron’s business partner), if LeBron and the Miami Heat win the championship this year, Unknwn will release some special collaborative items and other well-timed merchandise exclusively on Unknwn.com.
The store is set to open November 2011.
