Nike Air Revolution High – OG Pair on eBay

One of the pioneers of the high-top basketball shoe craze is the Nike Air Revolution, the 1988 sneaker that shared a midsole design with the Air Jordan III and featured a high ankle strap and packaged in the neat orange and grey box with a Nike Air hangtag and info manual. The Nike Air Revolution High was later cut down to the mid-top and again to the low-top for ‘easier’ wear, but there’s no doubt that original version would be fit right in with today’s styling based on the popularity of Air Yeezys and Supra high-top skaters, which is why the 2008 re-issue of the Air Revolution did fairly well. The Revolution could be credited for being at the forefront of this high-top revolution of today, so how about paying tribute in the right way? Deadstock pairs almost never cross our paths so check out this true piece of Nike Basketball OG heat from jasonwhite9 on eBay. Via Sneaker News

Reebok Insta Pump Fury ‘Outdoor Pack’ – New Images

The Reebok Insta Pump Fury has showed off a variety of impressive colorways in recent months and this new edition is right up at the top of that list. Check out the Insta Pump Fury in one of its Outdoor Pack colorways, one that echoes the early ’90s rise of Nike ACG with a grey overlay adding pink and blue accents plus speckles on its midsole. Adding to the outdoorsy appeal is a vaguely native pattern on the sockliner that looks like it could have been crafted by an Anasazi artisan. Via atmos & Sneaker News
Retro Sample – Air Jordan V (5) “Laney”
A little over one week ago we came across a look into the samples closet that included a look at the 2000 retro version of the “Concord” Air Jordan XI. Today we go back to that year for a look at the Air Jordan retro V “Laney,” which was, of course, the first time Michael Jordan honored his Laney High School in North Carolina through his shoes. These instantly became a classic; and, with all of the retro/OG craze that Jordan Brand has already generated in the last months/years, if the “Laney” Air Jordan V saw a return in 2011, then it could very well cause the biggest shoe disturbance since… say… the Air Jordan VI/XI Defining Moments Package? Air Jordan XII Retro Low – Black Patent
News of a 2011 release of Air Jordan XII Low ‘Taxi’ popped up a few weeks ago as a nice surprise for some, and now it appears that it won’t be the only low version of the Jordan XII hitting retail this year. Here we get a look at a new colorway of the Low, featuring a black on black nubuck upper with alternating perforation sections, similar to the design of 2009′s Rising Sun edition. A patent mudguard and some choice red accents provide some additional contrast to the otherwise simple design, giving this version a nice clean look that may even win over some Jordanheads who usually turn their nose up at Air Jordan Lows.
